Colorful horses prance on this hand woven cotton shoulder bag designed by Monica Almorza. The bag is made by recycling a traditional huipil (blouse) from Nahuala, where women work on the back strap loom designing zoomorphic and geometric patterns, explains the Guatemalan designer. Trimmed with quality leather, the bag's beige cotton interior includes a zipper pocket. Almorza completes her design with her trademark collection of traditional items that include a cotton worry doll, a pinewood toucan mask, a colorful pompom, and tassels.
