Description This course presents the most current guidelines for operative vaginal delivery (OVD) . It covers general background information about OVD; its indications, contraindications, and potential maternal and neonatal complications; the procedures (including the importance of manufacturer's guidelines) , and related communication and documentation standards. The course addresses current recommendations from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) about OVD.
